Fall has kept me busy. I wrote a new Gunpla painting tutorial that really took me out of my comfort zone. I reviewed Gundam: Reconguista in G, which is a beautiful disaster in so many ways. I shared my favorite Newtypes with the Anime News Network community. And somehow, John and I have almost finished up our Gunpla building backlog!
That means it’s time to shop for more. Where better to look than the new releases? Here’s what came out in September, and what you can pre-order this October.
Only four releases this month, and all from Gundam Build Fighters Try Island Wars. Nils Yajima created this flashy blue and orange model to test his latest Plavsky Particles battle system. In its berserk mode, it has an elaborate set of orange wings.
